Audio
Here are some audio clips of things we’ve captured. We do our best to avoid contamination by other people, outside noises and even ourselves. If there is a potential of contamination, we do not use any evidence that we find, therefore what is left is defined by us as unable to be explained. None of these recordings have been altered or “cleaned up” in any way.
At a private residence in Bernville, this whisper was captured in one of the bedrooms. Right after the whisper you can hear investigators in another room speaking. After confirming with other audio recorders, we established that this voice was not one of our investigators. We’re unable to make out what it’s saying, but it sounds like 2 syllables.
ALBRIGHT – SELWYN BATHROOM BANG EXAMPLES
We left a recorder in the 2nd floor girl’s bathroom in the Selwyn building. Throughout the recording when the building was empty, we kept hearing bangs and bumps. This is just a few examples of the dozens that we heard.
This was found in the cottage between 2 male investigators talking. You’re listening for a female voice, but it’s very brief and only about 2 syllables. There were no females on location at this time.
The following 3 evp’s happened in order. An investigator was in the cottage alone, she felt uncomfortable and went outside to get some air. The “Male Voice” was captured around the time she felt uncomfortable, in the “Child Voice” recording you hear her close the door, then hear the voice, and the 3rd labeled “Empty Cottage Noises” was all recorded in the time after she left and when the building was empty.
A male voice is heard here that is difficult for us to understand. We have considered it may be saying “You don’t belong here.” It’s heard before the bang sound. If it’s difficult to hear, we suggest using headphones.
Here you will hear what sounds like a child’s voice after the door is closed. We believe it may be saying something along the lines of “Thank you, Mommy.”
ALBRIGHT – EMPTY COTTAGE NOISES
The building is empty at this point when all the noises are heard.
This was recorded in the 2nd floor girl’s bathroom in Selwyn Hall. The building was empty at this time and no students were on campus.
When this was recorded there were no males at the location. This was captured within minutes of starting our investigation with only female team members present.
PRIVATE RESIDENCE – RESPONSE TO A QUESTION
You will hear an investigator ask “Is this your house?” There is a faint voice after that. After much debate, we determined it’s possible the voice is saying “This is my room.”
This one is very difficult to hear, we definitely suggest headphones for this one. It was captured while one of our female investigators was sitting quietly alone in a room. After some debate, we determined that it’s possibly saying “Help me” or “I’m here.” What do you hear?
You will hear this voice after one investigator asks, “Anybody here want to talk with us?” and it also seems to be talking under the same investigator saying “doing a little sweep here.”
Approximately 12 seconds into this recording you will hear what sounds like a child’s voice. We think the voice is saying “I hear voices.” Which made us wonder if that spirit could hear us but didn’t see us and didn’t know what was going on. And who was that spirit talking to?
Listen for a child’s voice after the investigator asks “Can you turn on the tv?” We were unable to determine what it was saying.
Believe it or not, this all happened when everyone, including investigators, were out of the house. Approximately 10 seconds in you can hear what may be a voice also. A video camera was set up in this room to capture most of the room and nothing moved at all during this time.
You can hear investigators talking in the other room, this sounds like something whispered “hi” directly into the microphone on this recorder.
BAR/RESTAURANT – RESPONSE BANG
The voice recorder was sitting on the bar at this time and the investigator you hear was in an adjacent room. You will hear the investigator ask “Can you make one of the chairs on the bar fall off the bar?” Immediately after that you hear a loud bang. We were not able to determine what made that noise. No chairs had fallen and nothing was caught on any video we had.
