Founder: Mindy Wheeler

Education/Skills/Strengths: – H.S. grad, 1 year college-elementery education, 10+ years experience with theater, 5 years experience running own business, planning and organizing meetings.
Travel Experience: Mostly lived in Berks county all my life.  Travel includes Florida, Tennessee and Texas and driving through states to them, Bahamas.
Language skills: little American Sign Language, little Spanish
Paranormal Encounters/Experience/Beliefs: Many experiences as a child that I was told about, do not remember.  Possibly have seen a ghost, could not confirm one way or another, heard voices/noises, been touched,  believe in ghosts, spirit guides, angels, psychics, aliens, fairies, and all kinds of other creatures we can’t see.  Use pendulum occasionally.  Do not believe in the devil or demons, but do believe in negative spirits.
Other information: married, no children yet, I like keeping things simple, try not to bite off more than I can chew and try to keep hubby from doing the same.

Phil Wheeler – Case Manager

Education/Skills/Strengths: – Reiki 1, degree in electronics, EMT, firefighter, background in building construction and maintenance. Professional photographer, general computer. Amateur radio
Travel Experience: Bahamas
Language skills: English, very basic German
Paranormal Encounters/Experience/Beliefs: first paranormal experience as a
teenager, since then just wanted to learn more. Wiccan. Extensive personal study of religions, religious beliefs and paranormal.
Personal preferences in Paranormal: no preferences, will try anything. Strong belief in Singapore theory.
Other information: strong background in herbal medicine and naturopathic healing remedies and techniques

Founding Members/Investigators

Cindy Bausher

Education/Skills/Strengths: – 40 plus years of Accounting background including budgets, AP/AR, Cost Acctg and Analysis, Performance Measurements, Operations Analysis, Procurement, Payroll and some other stuff.  Can come in handy if we come across a spirit with a lot of Accounting experience!!  Musical background: piano, organ, harmonica, guitar, trumpet, baritone horn (yes it was bigger than me!), a bit of drumming and could sing pretty good too!  Oh and if it counts, I can play the flute-o-phone too!
Travel Experience: Have a summer home near Rehoboth, DE for 26 years.  Traveled about 1/3 of the country but have never left the US.
Language skills: Some Spanish and PA Dutch but not fluently.
Paranormal Encounters/Experience/Beliefs: I definitely believe in the spiritual world or realm and know who my spirit guide is. I have had several definite encounters with different spirits during sleep and being awake. One was my uncle, one was my husband’s mother and the other the old lady who owned our previous home and so happened to die there.
Other information: Extreme fear of spiders and somewhat afraid of high places.

Deb Britt – Web Mistress

Education/Skills/Strengths: – graphic design; web design; Reiki Master; health and fitness knowledge; great listener, coach, and motivator;
Travel Experience: Lived in Berks County, PA; Baltimore, MD; Bel Air, MD; Boulder, CO.  traveled to various cities/states: NY, NJ, DE, NC, SC, FL; San Francisco, CA; Montreal.
Language skills: English only
Paranormal Encounters/Experience/Beliefs: My grandmother could read tea leaves; I understand some Tarot; use/used a pendulum; have experienced communication with unseen “whatever” through automatic writing; have taken some interesting digital photos; I do believe that there are entities in some form, since energy never just disappears.
Personal preferences in Paranormal: Not crazy about using ouija boards, though automatic writing is not much different, really.  I’m open to try new things.
Other information: heights are not my favorite thing; don’t like walking over open grates for some reason (or anything I can see through to a drop below me); swinging bridges over canyons would definitely be out of the question

Education/Skills/Strengths: – BS Psychology, Albright College, 4 years training in electronics technology, web site design experience, level 2 Reiki Practitioner, fitness training, theatrical acting, manufacturing background
Travel Experience: Berks County – 20+ years, Germany – 2 years, Phoenix area -5 years, Chicago – 6 months, Texas – 2 years
Language skills: some understanding of German, some understanding of Spanish
Paranormal Encounters/Experience/Beliefs: no experiences known, extreme skeptic
Personal preferences in Paranormal: no séances or ouiji boards willing to train for other offbeat stuff
Other information: fear of heights, some issues with claustrophobia, ride motorcycles, enjoy karaoke, married, 4 ‘kids’, into music, not shy, speak in front of groups easily, hella good looking, modest, do improv

Kelly Horning – Treasurer

Education/Skills/Strengths: – High School degree. Have been working in the Accounting for 22 years.  I am a good listener and I like things to be organized.
Travel Experience: Have been on cruises and visited a lot of different places (Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Aruba, St John, St Thomas, Haiti, Tulum Ruins, Mexico) New Mexico visited Indian sites, have only been from Pa down to Florida on the east coast. Have lived in Berks County all my life.
Paranormal Encounters/Experience/Beliefs: I see flashes of light and have felt something touch my hair and heard a growling noise when I was a teenager playing with an Ouija Board. My daughter has seen the flashes of light as well and felt something touch her.
Personal preferences in Paranormal: No Ouija Boards for me. Will train for other things.
Other information: Capricorn. Married with one child. Have a bad knee so steps are not to good for me. Love watching Horror movies and reading Vampire Books.

Kathie Sutton – Secretary

Education/Skills/Strengths: – working on AAS at RAC; accounting and customer service experience; musician; strong organizational skills
Travel Experience: visited all southern and western states; Bahamas, Mexico, Canada
Paranormal Encounters/Experience/Beliefs: Although I’ve only seen one ghost (or was it a spirit guide – don’t know ), I have encountered ghosts off and on most of my adult life.  My children have as well.
Other information: fear of heights for sure; typical Capricorn, so watch it!
